It has been a long work filled day, and I do not really have a post today. So I will give you an extra long recap
To recap:
Apathy is just fine.
I mean really, who cares if someone is apathetic?
My shoe has a broken eyelet on it
That makes me sad
How can the null set be the compliment of the Universal set, when it is a member of the Universal set?
Can someone tell me that one?
Well, can someone?
I didn't think so...
It is absolutely gorgeous outside today
Can someone be extraordinarily apathetic?
I got my review today
Turns out I performed so poorly I owe the company money
Again
“Extra” means “more”
“Ordinary” means “normal”
Why doesn’t “extraordinary” mean “more normal?”
If so, I am truly extraordinary
By "extraordinarily apathetic" I guess I mean "more normally uncaring"
I miss the real Mt. Dew
Caffeine free Mt. Dew just makes me long for the real stuff
G-money drinks Diet Mt. Dew
I don't know which is actually wussiest
They actually make Diet Caffeine Free Mt Dew
I don't know why
The diet I understand, G-Money is watching his girlish figure
The Caffeine Free I understand, because it is the equivalent to methadone
But Caffeine and Diet?!?!?!!
I have to write even more marketing crap tomorrow
About databases.... ewwwww!
And database management.... double ewwwwwwww!
My title at work is Senior Cartographer/GIS Coordinator
I wish my title were Señor Cartographer
Everyone would have to say it like Speedy Gonzalez or Slow-Poke Rodriguez

Dustin:
I would mainly want people to say it like Slow Poke Roderiguez.
It's been FOREVER since I've seen a Speedy Gonzalez cartoon. :-(
Life was so much easier as a kid.
What Dustin said, sans cookie.
are you sure the null set is part of the Universal set? I have my doubts...
extraordinary is not "more ordinary", but "extraneous to ordinary", or something like that, meaning "outside of ordinary" -- therefore making sense. At least, I think so. I'd like to take this sentence to point out that none of this is based on any external source of information other than a hunch of mine (which is external to a lot of things, but not external to me) (I'm rambling now. Moving on)
Who is slow poke Rodríguez (surely not Roderiguez)? Speedy González I know, but that...
and finally
what peefer said, verbatim
NYM:
I have not wallowed in the wonderment of a Warner Brothers’ cartoon of questionable degrees of racism in a while as well. The best ones involve the Heckle and Jeckle knock-offs.

I wish you a cookie then, not to choke on, but because cookies are nice

A couple of definitions:
1. Null Set or Ø is defined as being the minimal subset of any set. Typically this is denoted by { }. In the case of the Integers Ø = { } or a set with no members. In essence, Ø is a member of every existent set. It is typically not shown in the list of a sets members, because it is a member of every set. To boil it down further, Ø = nothing.
2. The Universal set or U, is defined as the set that contains all members of the universe. For instance, U for the universe of Integers ({…,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,…}) as well as all the potential subsets of that set, such as {1,10,56,-7} or {-10000000, 5, 22000}. In the simplest terms U = everything.
3. Complement or C: the complement of a set is all that is in U that is not within the set in question. For example, the complement of an Integer set containing just the members {1,2,3} would be everything in U that is not {1,2,3} or containing {1,2,3}.
An easier example: If U = {A,B,{A,B}} then C of A = B, C of B = A, and C of {A,B} = { } or Ø
So with those definitions, technically the C of U = Ø, and the C of Ø = U, but I find fault with this because the complement set should not be a member of the set to which it is the complement and the complement of a set should not contain itself.
I have some rough thoughts on how to get around this, but I am not drunk enough to explain them thoroughly. It involves creating a new system of mathematics, so I need to be really smashed.
Also, not sure of the spelling on Slowpoke, but “He is not soo fast, but he carries a beeg gun.”
Again, I wish you a cookie, not to choke on, but because cookies are good.
You drunken branch of math will have to include some type of limit theorem of sets. It may sound awkward and unpopular, but it's not like Newton had a lot of friends, either. Not that I'm suggesting anything about you and your friends. Thanks for the cookie.
Limit theorem of sets... How bout infinity as your limit? How does that strike you?
