Some work related stuff for today.
These are some cross-section/block diagrams that I did for a public involvment meeting that were not used.
They stopped me from finishing up the more detailed block diagrams with labels and such.
Ooooh, interesting!
To recap:
I will re-embed the images when I get home, then they will be clickable for embigginationHave a great weekend everyone

Interesting.
You guys still use a concrete curb/gutter combo for urban areas out there? No longer allowed by code here in Jersey. Looks like you also have stepped sub-base & underdrain - also no longer done here. We use 18" curbs, with 2"/5"/6" for the FABC, BSBC & sub-base, all backing up to the curb, which backs to undisturbed soil. The underdrain's (if that's what I'm seeing) not allowed to connect back to the storm system because of ecological concerns (go figure!) Why'd they kill the 3D renderings? Much better presentation & all you needed was some labeling!
Just wanted to show you that to some of us, it actually IS an interesting post . . . well, to a fellow civil geek anyway.
Later!
J.A. Coppinger:
Keep in mind that this is for Kentucky, they may not be so up-to-date with their regs.
That being said, the typical x-section they gave me to work with was ancient and then they changed everything they gave me twice, so my bet is that they just did not make me change the substratta.
I am disturbed that you found this remotely interesting.
I was pissed that they did not go with the block diagrams and went with simple x-sections.
